In the year 2063, interstellar space travel has become the norm. Eight students from Caird High School and one child set out on a routine planet camp excursion. Mysteriously, they are transported 5,000 light-years away to the middle of nowhere! Can these eight teenagers find their way back home?

Aboard the Astra, the situation intensifies as Zack reveals to Kanata that the ship's communication system has been sabotaged, and it is likely that one of them is the culprit. The crew members are overtaken with confusion and anger, and they begin questioning each other's motives.

Suddenly, the side of the Astra explodes! The controls and gravity system shut down, and the Astra is set on a collision course with the planet Shummoor. The teenagers must work together to overcome the chaos and find a way to safely return to Earth.
